Position Overview:
We are looking for a Cloud Architect to join our dynamic team and support our client, a leading European cloud provider, in implementing European Commission projects. These initiatives cover areas such as DataSpace, Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence, and Cloud Edge Continuum.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Microsoft 365 Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert
- CKA: Certified Kubernetes Administrator
- AWS Certified: Solutions Architect – Professional
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with clients to grasp their business requirements and translate them into cloud infrastructure designs.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines to automate the deployment and testing processes for cloud-based applications.
- Optimize cloud infrastructure to enhance performance and cost efficiency, focusing on resource allocation, scaling strategies, and comprehensive monitoring.
- Design and deploy containerized solutions leveraging technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Develop and implement security best practices tailored for cloud environments, prioritizing data protection and compliance adherence.
- Proficiency in cloud platforms, particularly European-based ones.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and trends in cloud computing, Kubernetes, and CI/CD. Evaluate their potential impact on our projects and solutions to ensure we remain at the forefront of innovation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud architecture and implementation.
- Strong understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing cloud-based solutions tailored for enterprise-level applications.
- Comprehensive knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments, encompassing identity and access management, encryption methodologies, and regulatory compliance standards.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, adept at collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues promptly.
- In-depth knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments, covering identity and access management (IAM), encryption protocols, and regulatory compliance standards.
